Jim Jones Speaks On Lil Tjay, Offers Prayers: "It's Terrible Out There"
According to Jones, being a rapper in today's society is unquestionably the riskiest career in the world.
Hip Hop is still waiting for fresh updates on Lil Tjay's condition. While the individual authorities believe to be responsible for the shooting was detained, the New York rapper was apparently shot while out with two other people in New Jersey. Tjay's condition has been described as severe. The outpouring of support only grows as the days go by after he underwent emergency surgery and there were rumors that he is still unconscious.
Rappers' roles both inside and outside the industry have frequently been discussed by Jim Jones. Rappers have one of the most hardest jobs, the Dipset legend recently claimed, and Jones confirmed this in an interview with HipHopDX.
I'm standing on it. Rappers are slain more frequently than there are weeks in a year "says he. "My prayers are with Lil Tjay, who was just shot up the other day. I have no idea how he is doing, but, you know, the world is a terrible place. Every day, they discuss a different rapper who has recently been shot, participated in a shooting, or anything similar.
I still stand by what I stated, so yeah. In today's environment, being a rapper is unquestionably the riskiest career in the world. You have a 50% chance of succeeding as a rapper, and succeeding as a rapper means staying alive. You can interpret that whatever you want since it's one for one.
Although there are many other reasons why rappers continue to be violently attacked, Jones thinks that most of them revolve on obtaining money. Lil Tjay allegedly suffered injuries during a failed heist, according to the authorities.
Jones remarked, "I don't want anybody to ever get that distorted. Rap and music are quite lucrative. Actually, if these rappers didn't have the songs they do, they wouldn't be able to access the additional income they generate. You need to take it into consideration because if they didn't have popular music, nobody would care.
